    Last I heard he was living in Mendicino (retired ) with wife Jan, still doing art work (think she has a art gallery there)..........

        County (and town) on the Northern California coast 200 or so miles above San Francisco, in between Sonoma and Humboldt Counties.

        Its up north about 1.5 hrs from here sabastopol 2.5hrs from SF but I thought he lived in Bolinas. they have a tattoo museum in mendicino, And glass beach too they have..
